Welcome to YBA -- Yates Baseball Academy SUMMER PROGRAMS Posted 5-11.2011 by Dave Yates The Yates Baseball Academy will be expanding our travel ball rosters for the summer, we will have teams for ages 8u thru 18u. We will be holding tryouts for all ages. We have 10u, 11u,12u, 13u, 14u and 16u teams. If interested please email or call us. At YBA- Use of Centennial High School (cages, bullpens, etc.) Custom Uniforms Spring and Fall Leagues and at BIg League Dreams No player will be cut (we will offer developmental instruction for players not ready for travel ball). Practice: Norco Cages 6-7 pm Wednesday $5 (ALL TEAMS) Sunday Centennial High School 9-11 am (All Teams) Tournaments: 13u 1/28-29 14u-16u 1/29 10u, 11u TBD YBA Try-Outs: Sunday 9-11 am Centennial High School (pending rain) Travel League: Paper work + birth certificate+ fees due by 1/25 Uniforms: YBA hats & custom pants available from Coach Saller. Winter YBA uniform packages will be available for order soon.

Tournament Updates 1/15

13u on Fire and playing Awesome.!!! 12u Playing Great!!! After a streak of winning 3 tournaments in row. We finally lost a very good game on1 1/6 to a combination of the Freaks and Storm for a 3rd place finish. We ended up with a record of 3-1 which is very good. We also have a our birth (actually 3 births) to the upcoming JWPB Tournament of Champions in February. Congratulations to our YBA 13u team for winning their tournament 11/19-22 with a record of 5-0.

Yates new Raven baseball coach

Former Centennial assistant David Yates is the new Bloomington Christian baseball coach, said Ravens athletic director Brad Stott. Yates is replacing Stott.

Yates runs a baseball academy in Corona and has also coached at Riverside Christian, Stott said.
